The WCIRB's Classification and Rating ("C&R") Committee is next scheduled to meet on March 6, 2012.

Meetings take place at the WCIRB's San Francisco office and are open to the public, except for portions held in Executive Session.

The C&R Committee consists of seven insurers: State Compensation Insurance Fund and six private insurers, who serve by election by the WCIRB membership.

The Committee mainly (1) considers and recommends to the Governing Committee changes in the California Experience Rating Plan and Uniform Statistical Reporting Plan, and (2) enforces data reporting standards by insurers, including imposing fines upon non-conforming insurers.
